Appearance: Standing 4'8", MOMO is a fair-toned realian with a gentle smile. Her amber eyes reveal all her emotions from joyousness to sadness. Usually, she wears a French-artist type hat and a school-girl type skirt. She always keeps the "Sayonara" bullet-bracelet Jr. gave her on her left arm, and her pink hair reaches just past her shoulders. As an archer, she usually has matching arm-guards which tend to hide about half of her hands.

Personality: MOMO is the symbol of innocence in the Xenosaga series. In fact, when Ziggy admits that he doesn't want a "young women" (namely Shion) working on his body, MOMO was rather hurt because he didn't mind her working on her body. However, Ziggy calms her by saying that he doesn't mind because of the purity of her heart. Because of this innocence, MOMO doesn't know many things, and the others often hold facts away from her.

With innocence comes being naive. MOMO often makes foolish decisions to support the others. In addition, she thinks of everyone else and very little of herself. All she really wants is her family to be back together (Juli and Joachim). She often calls upon memories of Joachim before her birth for support, such as Joachim telling MOMO that if she is a good girl, she'll become a real girl (Pinocchio reference). She's afraid of letting others around her down.

Her emotions are easily swayed in one direction or the other. Juli can easily stimulate MOMO with warmth by making little statements of their future together. On the other hand, Jr. quite easily brought MOMO down into the dumps when emphasizing that Joachim Mizrahi, MOMO's legal father, was a lunatic. Despite her own feelings, she does her best to stay strong emotionally for other people, but she does need her own pick-me-up now and then.

The problem that MOMO is constantly faced with is that she is constantly treated as Sakura's copy. Even though she was created similarly to Sakura, they are two completely different people. Juli said it best herself, "The Sakura Rubedo described was a tomboy-ish carefree spirit, but you [MOMO]... you're an intelligent you woman..." Because of the fact that she is the genuine "copy" she is constantly mistreated and that often brings her down. However, Shion and the gang often try their best to treat MOMO as a real girl to battle this identity diffusion.

The basis of MOMO's personality continually goes back to her want to become a real girl and go to heaven to meet her father. All her actions, which continually help the good of humanity, are done to take steps closer to achieve that goal.

Abilities/Strengths: As a 100-Series realian, MOMO has the ability to analyze and process data in almost any situation both quickly and efficiently. This allows her to stay calm and collected in almost any crisis. She can also release the Hilbert Effect (a wave that can either cross-interfere with other waves or bring imaginary beings into the real plane) in small controlled areas, although she definitely won't be using this too often. Equipped with nano-repair functions, she can typically heal faster than the average being (although she's not going to pull a Wolverine during battle). In terms of battle, her strengths lie in support. Utilizing an Ether Bow (the equivalent to a bow which fires magical arrows) which amplifies her power, MOMO is able to cast powerful offensive spells/ethers in addition to the typical defensive and healing ethers she more often casts.

Weaknesses: MOMO's history has given her a sense of longing for friends and loved ones. She is rather emotional and her feelings are easily controlled by those around her. Although she's not afraid to express her feelings, she tries to hide them to stay strong for her friends sometimes. However, she doesn't hide her emotions or lie very well due to her kind-hearted nature. Physically, she also isn't very strong offensively or defensively, so if she ever has to fight alone, she's not likely to do so well.



History: Multiple Observative Mimetic Organicus (or M.O.M.O. for short) Mizrahi was born approximately 15 years ago about the time of the Miltian Conflict. Although she looks like a human, she is in fact a transgenic realian (humanoid robot with artificial emotion, human organs, etc.): more specifically the prototype 100 Series Observational realian. She was originally built by Joachim Mizrahi to act as her sister, Sakura Mizrahi's, medium with the outside world (Sakura had a disease that did not allow her to speak). However, after Sakura's death, Joachim tried to retrieve Sakura's consciousness and place it into MOMO. This attempt failed and instead MOMO's consciousness grew. Nevertheless, Joachim continued to develop MOMO and treated her as a sort of "second daughter."

After the Miltian Conflict ended, Joachim had died and MOMO had awakened. Thus, it was up to Juli, Joachim's wife, to take care of MOMO. MOMO's body had been designed to look just like Sakura, and Juli couldn't bear to love, "something that looked like her daughter but wasn't." Thus, for 14 Years, Juli had raised MOMO as distantly as possible. MOMO continously reached out for love and support, but was constantly rejected by Juli in a left-handed manner.

14 years later, it was discovered that MOMO's database held the Y-Data, a critical set of records entrusted to MOMO from Joachim concerning research on the universe and the Gnosis, monstrous beings that attacked humanity. Various organizations from U-tic and even the Federation then went after MOMO. The U-tic Organization were the ones to successfully capture the prototype and they held her on the Astroid Pleroma against her will for quite some time. Ziggy, a mercenary of sorts, was briefed into rescuing MOMO and successfully infiltrated the astroid to MOMO's prison cell. After escaping on a tiny ship, Ziggy and MOMO began to build a father daughter relationship. However, the escape wasn't completely clean as they were pursued by many fighters. In serious peril, the two were rescued by Shion and the Elsa crew who, from then on, became close friends and allies.

From there, the crew endured several hardships including being eaten by a giant Gnosis called Cathedral Ship and having an attack on the Kukai Foundation, the foundation which the Elsa was registered with. However, at the Gnosis attack, MOMO was captured by an individual called Albedo who took her to the Song of Nephilim. There, Albedo ripped apart the Kirschwassers, many of MOMO's beloved sisters, before her various eyes and raped MOMO to try and get the Y-data. However, before Albedo could get the data, MOMO's friends came and saved her.The group then tried to destroy the Song of Nephilim, but a mysterious force protected it from the Durandal's gunpower and it was merged with Proto Merkabah, MOMO's birthplace. There, the party faced off with Albedo. However, Albedo had a Plan B and launched the Merkabah towards Second Miltia, the planet which the Merkabah was orbiting. Using MOMO's database and KOS-MOS's abilities, the group was able to save the planet and land on Second Miltia.

At Second Miltia, everyone headed their seperate ways. As Jr, chaos, Ziggy, and MOMO headed toward the Second Miltian parliamentary office, they were attacked by the U-tic Organization once again who tried to capture MOMO. Thanks to the group's strength and some help from Canaan in ES Asher, the party was able to protect MOMO from capture. Afterwards, MOMO proceeded to the UMN Control Section on Second Miltia for the analysis of her Y-data. There, Albedo tried to hack into the system and steal the Y-data. The group tried to protect MOMO, but Albedo's attack proved too much, and MOMO destroyed her own mind as a last resort to protect the data Joachim entrusted to her. Shion and the gang then performed a subconscious dive into MOMO to restore her mind, where the party learned about Sakura, the girl MOMO was modeled after. In the end, the party was able to restore MOMO's neural pathways, but Albedo anticipated this and stole the Y-data as soon as MOMO's mindframe was restored.

As a result, the path to Old Miltia was opened and the group went off to land on Old Miltia to recover the original Zohar and analyze the data inside Canaan's head. Inside Labyrinthos, the data in Canaan proved that Joachim was not the "madman" everyone thought he was and actually saved the universe. This gave a sort of intimate moment between Jin, the messenger, and MOMO. Although the group had reached the Zohar area, they were too late and Miltia was destroyed. Developing a close relationship with Jr, MOMO tried to go with him to stop the Space-Time Anomaly Albedo had created when the Testament destroyed the Patriarch. However, Jr did not allow this and made MOMO wait for him back on the Durandal after promising he'd come back. Eventually, Jr returns and he reunites with a happy MOMO. Leaving at the Second Miltia port with Juli, who had decided to treat MOMO as a second daughter like Joachim did with the beckoning of Ziggy, the two bid everyone good-bye for some time to live together with Ziggy just a call away. Finally finding what she always wanted, MOMO happily left to live with Juli.

A year later, MOMO reunited with her friends in the Kukai Foundation to investigate a "mysterious floating landmass." After some investigation, they were attacked by U-tic members and the Elsa was lost to the imaginary space around the floating landmass. With some extra help from Shion and KOS-MOS, they were able to penetrate the imaginary space and enter the floating land mass to try to rescue the Elsa. However, after searching around for a bit, they bumped into T-elos, an enemy android who wanted to defeat KOS-MOS. After a fierce battle, KOS-MOS lost and began to radiate a bright light which engulfed everyone.

When the party recovered consciousness, they were on Old Miltia fifteen years ago before the Miltian Conflict. There, the party confronted their past and were enlightened on things they didn't know. For MOMO, this trip served to open her eyes about her father, Joachim Mizrahi. During a conversation with him, she discovered that although she was meant to be Sakura's recovered consciousness, Joachim accepted the development of the new consciousness to be MOMO, citing that she would bring hope to all realians as their state-of-the-art and very human-like model. MOMO also found out that Joachim was not a mad man and actually saved the universe by plunging Old Miltia into the untouchable space it was in for 14 years.

Reassured of her existence, MOMO continued to travel with everyone even after they escaped from the past. She served as a pillar of support and backed the technical side whenever necessary. Ultimately, the party prevailed against a mega-reset of the universe and a select group left to search for Lost Jerusalem to save it from collapse. MOMO wanted to go as well, but was told to stay with Ziggy and Juli to help rebuild the now-collapsed UMN. She waved good-bye to her departing friends and immediately began to help rebuild the UMN with the rest of the Federation on Fifth Jerusalem.

After a month of hard work, Juli sent MOMO to Desai to take a much needed vacation.
